Important Notice of Procedures for Opening New Accounts (Identity Verification)

Federal law requires that all financial institutions obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.  The government requires this information to fight the funding of terrorism and money-laundering activities.  When you apply for membership, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We will also ask for a photocopy of your driver’s license or other identifying documents.

Important Notice on Reporting Negative Information

We may report information about your loan(s), share or deposit accounts to credit bureaus.  Late payments, missed payments, or other defaults on your accounts can be reflected in your credit report.
